Gillespie Avenue is committed to spreading Christ's love throughout our community both locally and around the world. We undertake several mission projects annually.

Back to School Event

Each year we host a Back to School Bash for the community. We kick off the school year with food and fellowship and provide school supplies to children and families.

Women on Mission (WOM)

WOM is a group of women in our church who meet monthly to plan and coordinate church events, including meals, fundraisers, and activities. WOM is also dedicated to serving and supporting our shut-ins and elderly members, helping them feel connected, cared for, and remembered by our church family.

Operation Christmas Child

Every holiday season, we pack boxes with toys and essentials for Operation Christmas Child to help a child receive a holiday gift and the gospel message.

CareCuts

We raise money quarterly for this local nonprofit to provide a hot meal for unhoused and less fortunate residents in Knoxville.

Mission Fundraisers

Throughout the year, we fundraise for different mission offerings like Annie Armstrong Easter, Lottie Moon Christmas, and Tennessee Golden Missions.
